PROJECT MANAGER
This position is for experienced project management professional with proven leadership & entrepreneurial skills. The incumbent should possess extensive work experience of Petrochemical, Oil & Gas plants and leading the team at senior project management position.

SITE MANAGER
To undertake the responsibility of entire project site as “The Leader” to deliver the committed project targets in compliance with Descon’s Project Management System’s
Responsibilities:

• Handle all the administrative matters of project site and provide leadership to ensure a highly motivated construction team.

• Organize the resources, and their efficient deployment.

• Ensuring cost effectiveness and work progress to deliver the output as per schedule.

• Ensure implementation of Descon’s integrated project management systems and related procedures at the site.

Qualification & Experience
BE/ME-Civil/Mechanical with 20 years above construction experience

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (MECHNICAL/E&I/CIVIL)
Responsible to carry out all the construction activities as per required standards through optimum utilization of resources. The incumbent shall be responsible for achieving project productivity & schedule targets while meeting QHSE standards.
Responsibilities:

• Preparation of detailed work plans and develops schedules to execute construction works as per contract requirements.

• Foresee resource requirement and ensure their availability.

• Ensure the optimal efficiency of the equipment & personnel.

Qualification & Experience:
BE/ME-Mechanical/Electrical with 10-15 years of experience. DAE-Mechanical/Electrical with 15-20 years of experience may also apply.

PLANNING MANAGER
The incumbent shall carry out overall planning, scheduling and monitoring of the project activities as per project scope.
Responsibilities:

• Planning & scheduling of project activities.

• Monitoring the daily, weekly & monthly progress.

• Resource estimation, budgeting, cost monitoring and issuance analytical reports.

Qualification & Experience
BE-Civil/Mechanical/E&I well versed with Primavera, with 7 to 10 years of planning experience.

QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
The incumbent shall be responsible to implement QA/ QC standards as per project requirements.
Responsibilities:

• Implementation of Quality Management System.

• Preparation of Project Quality Plan (PQP) & Quality Inspection Plan (QIP).

• To ensure implementation, monitoring of QA/QC procedures and take corrective measures where required.

• To develop and foster quality culture and endeavor zero-defect objective for the project.

• Interaction with client & engineer to resolve various issues related to QA/QC aspects.

Qualification & Experience
BE-Civil/Mechanical/E&I with 7-10 years of experience in the field of QA/QC in Construction Projects. The incumbent must be well versed with various codes and standards like ACI, AASHTO, ASTM, ASME, AWS etc.

MANAGER HSE
Develops/Implements HSE standards & regulations at the project sites in line with company commitment to HSE policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Ensures Implementation of HSE plans & regulations at project site.

• Ensures Installation of proper preventive measures.

• Development and implementation of safety talks for site workforce.

• Training of site staff on HSE matters.

• Highlight Risk assessments and risk management.

• Reporting & investigation of incidents & accidents.

Qualification & Experience
BE/DAE-Civil /Mechanical/ Environmental sciences having 7-10 years of experience of working in HSE Department

CONTRACTS MANAGER
To undertake the contract administration process of mega projects.
Responsibilities:

• Preparation and administration of contracts.

• Negotiation of contract’s expectations and commercial terms & conditions.

• Evaluation of the potential risks, opportunities and initiating necessary actions.

• Preparation & settlement of claims.

• Pre-qualification, evaluation and selection of sub-contractors.

• Develop and administer project contract organization.

Qualifications & Experience:
BE-Civil/Mechanical 5-7 years of experience or Chartered Quantity Surveyor from Royal Institute of Quantity Surveyors England with 7-10 years experience. Working knowledge of FIDIC and other international forms of contracts.

INCHARGE CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT & PLANT (SITE BASED)
To ensure effective utilization, maintenance and up-gradation of Equipment & Plant at the project site for timely availability at various work fronts.
Responsibilities:

• To undertake planned and preventive maintenance of equipment and plant.

• Forecasting equipment requirements.

• Forecasting repair / maintenance requirements.

Qualification & Experience:
BE-Mechanical with minimum 7-10 years experience or DAE-Mechanical with 10-15 years experience of planned and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting/diagnostic activities. Involvement in the field/base workshop repairs and overhauls of diesel engines, power shift transmissions, gearboxes, differentials, final drives, hydraulic pumps, etc.

INCHARGE WAREHOUSE
To manage store inventory in the most cost effective manner and to ensure that the material is in good care and custody.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all material management functions

• To ensure proper loading, unloading, receipt, stacking, issuance and dispatch of material

• To ensure high QA/QC Standards

Qualification & Experience:
Graduate with minimum 7-10 years experience having good command over PCS, N Store, and SBT Icon

INCHARGE COMMERCIAL (SITE BASED)
To ensure material management functions including Procurement, Sub-contracting and stores.
Responsibilities:

• To ensure the flow of procurement process in a smooth and professional manner through prequalified vendors/suppliers

• To manage import/export matter keeping strong liaison with agencies

• Ensures sub-contracting activities as per company policies

Qualification & Experience:
BE-Civil/Mechanical with 7 to 10 years or Graduate with minimum 10 years experience having good command over MMS Module.

INCHARGE TANK CONSTRUCTION (SITE BASED)
In-depth knowledge of tank construction
Responsibilities:

• Ensures development and implementation of Welding Procedures for Tank i.e. floating roof and fixed roof.

• To ensures the usage of procedures s per certified construction standards.

• Takes appropriate measures for the completion of job within budget and scheduled time.

Qualification & Experience:
BE-Mechanical with 7 to 10 years or DAE-Mechanical with more than 10 years experience in Mechanical Construction

INCHARGE PIPING (SITE BASED)
In-depth knowledge of Piping Works
Responsibilities:

• Ensures Piping Erection / Construction as per International Standards

• Ensure testing of Erected Piping and should be fully aware with all types of piping tests

• Should also have full command over commissioning activities

Qualification & Experience:
BE-Mechanical with 7 to 10 years or DAE-Mechanical with more than 10 years experience in Mechanical Construction

HSE-ENGINEERS

QA/QC ENGINEERS / WELDING ENGINEERS
The incumbent shall carry out overall planning, scheduling & monitoring of the project activities as per project scope.
Responsibilities:

• Implements and monitors QA/QC procedures

• Takes corrective measures where required

• Interaction with client resolve QA/QC Issues

Qualification & Experience
BE Mechanical having 3 years experience. Should have exposure in QA/QC field of large Mechanical Construction Projects.

CONTRACTS ENGINEERS
To undertake the contract administration process of mega projects.
Responsibilities:

• Preparation and administration of contracts.

• Identifies the potential risks, opportunities and initiating necessary actions.

• Preparation of claims.

PROCUREMENT ENGINEERS / PROJECT BUYERS:
The incumbent shall be involved in procurement of equipment & materials related to civil /Mechanical / E&I construction projects.
Responsibilities:

• Preparation of material/equipment requirement and acquisition plan.

• Procuring material, equipment and service at most competitive prices, within project schedule and quality.

• Finalizing both technical & commercial terms & conditions and issuance of orders.

• Cash flow forecasting for payment plans.

• Expediting orders including pre shipment inspection, for timely delivery of materials/equipment at site.

Qualifications & Experience:
BE-Mechanicl / Civil having 5-10 years experience or DAE-Mechanical / Civil or MBA with matching experience in construction material/equipment procurement. Should be fully conversant with various codes and standards to procure project material. Operation & maintenance experience of construction equipment & plant will be considered as a plus. Strong negotiation skills are essential.

AREA PLANNERS
The incumbent to develop Level III and Level IV plans in line with overall project schedule
Responsibilities:

• Generates rolling 3 months and 4 weeks look ahead plans and keep them updated

• Updates Planning Engineers on activities mentioned in Level III plans

• Monitors analysis progress, efficiency, consumption of materials and equipments based on 3 months look a head plan

Qualifications & Experience:
BE-Civil/Mechanical/E&I 2-3 years of experience or DAE/Civil/Mechanical/E&I with 3-5 years experience. Must be aware of MS Office and P3

SUPERVISORS (CIVIL/MECHANICAL/PIPING/RIGGING/EQUIPMENT & PLANT/ E&I / Tank Construction)
DAE Civil/Mechanical/E&I having 5 years relevant experience of Mechanical Projects
