• Able to independently prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals and approvals.
• Able to provide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, companies’ field installation team and subcontractors related to the following systems:
1. Sprinkler System
2. Hydrant System
3. Pre-action System
4. Deluge System
5. Fm200 System
6. AFF Foam System
7. Co2 System
• Able to act independently and coordinate with others to meet the intent of the project requirements.
• Able to manage the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required.
• Able to ensure the validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
• Keeps management and contractors or customer informed of job progress and issues
Skills
• Extensive experience working on projects related to Fire Fighting/FM200/Security systems/HVAC and in depth knowledge of these systems.
• Familiar with the latest fire fighting specifications in the market.
• Having experience in the design review, installation, testing and commissioning as per NFPA and Civil Defense Requirements.
• Having experience in the review of control submittals of any brand name. Knowledge of MS excel, MS word and features AutoCAD.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Work Experience: At least 4 years in Mechanical Systems (Fire Fighting).
Education
Bachelor’s degree/higher diploma
