Our client, a leading international real estate company dealing in sale and purchase of property is looking for well-experienced and enthusiastic candidates for the following positions for their Qatar unit operations.
PROPERTY MANAGER (5-7 years experience)
Scope and Responsibilities:
- Financial Management- Responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the property and overseeing the maintenance of all necessary financial records and files, etc.
- Operational Management- Supervise all aspects of the property to insure maintenance of high quality standards in the building, etc.
- Property Maintenance- Conduct on-going inspections of the property to insure; (1) the goals established in the annual business plan are being achieved; (2) the maintenance required due to the ordinary wear and tear is being conducted; and (3) the performance of all vendors contracted to work at the property is of high quality, etc.
- Tenant Relations- Prompt response to requests from building tenants and for the implementation of on-going contract programs and to assure problems are being solved promptly, etc.
- Contract Services Administration- Assist the Director of Asset Services in the selection of contracted services and vendor negotiation of service agreements, etc.
- Budgeting and Planning- develop and administer the annual property budget, etc.
- Lease Abstract- complete the required paperwork for establishing the lease file and setup, etc.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Certification or License: CPM; RPA, excellent computer knowledge, etc.
APPRAISAL MANAGER (10 years experience)
- Skills- Good communication skills both written and oral. Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose to the most appropriate one Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems, etc.
- Knowledge- Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings or other structures such as highways and roads. Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data, etc.
- Ability- Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing, etc.
- Tasks- Compute final estimation of property values, taking into account such factors as depreciation, replacement costs, value comparisons of similar properties, and income potential. Draw land diagrams that will be used in appraisal reports to support findings. Estimate building replacement costs using building valuation manuals and professional cost estimators. Evaluate land and neighborhoods where properties are situated, considering situations and trends or impending changes that could influence future values. Obtain country land values and sale information about nearby properties in order to aid in establishment of property values, etc.

A prominent real estate developer in Qatar is looking to recruit Male/Female Western Expatriate to fill the above two vacancies.
- The ideal candidate for the position of “Property Manager” should preferably have 5-7 years relevant experience in property/hotel management or facilities management.
- The candidate for the position of “Marketing Manager” should have a degree or diploma in marketing with relevant experience of 5-7 years and proven track record.
- The candidate for the above positions should also have excellent communication and organisation skills, customer services skills, good working knowledge of computers (MS Word & Excel).
- Should have a valid driving license
- Pro active and possess effective time management skills.
