CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
1. PROJECT ENGINEER
Holder of a bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years Gulf experience in site fields.
2. SITE ENGINEER
Holder of a Bachelor Degree or a Diploma in Civil Engineering, with 5-7 years Gulf experience in the related field.
3. SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Holder of bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Position requires a minimum 7-10 years experience e of Design in the related field.
4. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years Gulf experience of Design, in the related field.
5. MEP QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years Gulf experience in the related field
6. SALES ENGINEER
Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, with 2 to 5 years experience in sales and marketing projects.
7. GENERAL FOREMANS.
Holder of a Diploma in Civil Engineering, with Gulf experience in the related field

Description:
The incumbent will ensure understanding and endorsement of Qatar Foundation’s vision and mission among all stakeholders who are in a position to influence its future. He/She will also be expected to set the tone and mood of all Qatar Foundation communications so that they position the organisation in accordance with its chosen mission and vision.
Key Result Areas:
- Achievement of Department’s strategic goals:
- Development into a fully operational PR & Marketing department
- Increased local and international awareness and reputation of Qatar Foundation and Education City
- Internal marketing of public relations and marketing services
* Directing the PR team in building close relationships with key stakeholders in the public and private sectors, locally, regionally and internationally
* Directing the Events team to build awareness and interest in Education City as a venue for bringing people together in discussion, decision-making and entertainment
* Directing the Visitors’ Centre team in providing an informative experience which benefits both guests and Qatar Foundation
* Directing the Media and Publications team in winning understanding and endorsement of Qatar Foundation’s mission through the local, regional and international media and through production of our own PR materials
* Directing the cultural affairs team in devising and implementing a cultural strategy that reflects Qatar Foundation’s local, regional and international ethos
* Directing the translation unit to ensure that Qatar Foundation produces and has access to high quality translations
* With HR Department, recruitment of capable staff to build up and maintain department’s capabilities
* In line with HR performance management policies, management of individuals through setting of team and individual objectives and appraisal against agreed competences, mentoring, implementation of awards, and application of corrective and disciplinary measures in case of underperformance
* Training and Development of staff in line with departmental and organisational strategy
* To draw up departmental strategy, ensuring that communications align with and support organisational strategy
* Implement public relations and marketing strategy through teams and individuals
* Actively work with Qatar Foundation senior management, departments, campuses and centers to ensure that their communications are aligned with central messages
* Representing the organisation in public when require
* Advise individuals, departments, centers and campuses on their communications to ensure that Qatar Foundation’s mission is understood and endorsed
* To ensure that the organisation uses all available media to communicate its messages in a compelling and appealing way to identified stakeholder groups
* Work with senior management, departments, centers and campuses to improve internal communications across the organisation
* Leading project teams involving members of PR & Marketing, other departments, centers and campuses, and outside suppliers
* Provide professional PR & Marketing advice to centers and campuses.
* Promoting and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- A convinced advocate of the strategic role of public relations and marketing in successful organisations
- Must be able to operate persuasively at all levels, both within the organisation and beyond.
- Must be able to operate with all functions of the organisation.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a role building critical stakeholder relationships
- More than 10 years of work experience in a people management role involving appraisal and teambuilding
- Educated to a degree level with additional vocational qualifications in business administration and in strategic communications is an advantage.
